About Wendy Waks
Wendy Waks is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Although Wendy was born in the Greater Philadelphia area, she grew up in sunny Fort Myers, Florida and learned the value of proper sun protection. Wendy graduated from the University of Delaware where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She continued her education at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she received her Master’s of Science Degree in Physician Assistant studies. She is completing the rigorous dermatology fellowship program under the experienced providers at The Dermatology Specialists and is excited to make her dream of practicing dermatology a reality!
Prior to starting her journey as a PA-C, Wendy worked both as a medical scribe in the Emergency Department and as a Medical Assistant in an eye surgery center. She is passionate about dermatology and develops strong relationships with her patients through empathy, patient education, and open communication. Wendy is dedicated to enhancing skin health and confidence for patients of all ages.
During her free time, Wendy enjoys traveling, staying active, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Great experience seeing Wendy. Very attentive. Listened to my concerns and took the time to give a clear diagnosis and treatment plan. We will see how the treatment goes, but the visit went well.

They had me wait over an hour and even took a patient who walked in off the street before me! I had an app. I showed up early. Filled out my paperwork within 5 min. I was all squared away by the start of my appointment. And when I was finally seen, she was over the top with a (at best) rushed bedside manner to (at worse) fake caring.
