About Dr. Wenlang Xia

Dr. Xia has extensive experience in neurological diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. For the past 20 years, he has been in clinical practice, dedicated to providing children with high-quality, compassionate care. In addition to treating the full spectrum of neurologic and developmental disorders of childhood, he has special interests in studying and treating pediatric and adolescent patients with seizures and headaches. He believes in evidence-based practice as a way to provide the best patient care and always emphasizes patient-oriented care to tailor treatments to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients. Dr. Xia earned his Bachelor of Medicine from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Child Neurology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Outside of work, Dr. Xia enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking, and reading.

Dr Xia was very nice and extremely thorough. He listened to what my daughter had to say and provided several options to try to help her. I would definitely take her back to him for a follow up and would recommend him to anyone.
