Wesley Nathan Wormington, PA-C

Physician Assistant (Psychiatry)
MN
I'm a Physician Associate offering private pay integrative, trauma-informed mental health care through virtual visits across Minnesota. I work with adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, and complex emotional patterns that don’t always fit into a single diagnosis. If you’ve felt dismissed, over-medicated, or told “everything looks fine” when it doesn’t feel fine — you’re not alone here. My approach blends conventional psychiatry with functional insight and nervous system awareness. I believe care should be collaborative, individualized, and deeply respectful of your lived experience — not a rushed checklist. Whether we’re exploring medication options, or scaffolding long-term regulation, my goal is to meet you where you are without pressure to be anywhere else. This space is queer-affirming, neurodivergent-aware, and designed for those who've been told they’re “too sensitive” for the system. You’re allowed to be complex. You’re allowed to take your time. I’m here to help you do both: safely, and on your terms.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I take a root-cause, whole-person approach to mental health care. That means I’m interested in what your symptoms are, but also why they’re showing up — and what they’re trying to tell us. I don’t rush. I don’t default to one-size-fits-all treatment. We’ll look at your history, your nervous system, your environment, and your goals. While medications are a vital piece of my approach to care, they are not the ONLY piece and are used judiciously. Specific medications are not guaranteed if there is not medical necessity for them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Patients can schedule an initial consultation if they would like to meet before scheduling. This is a free, non-diagnostic call to see if we are a good fit. Patients can also directly schedule intake if they are ready to jump right in. All visits are virtual via their patient portal. During an intake we will address any presenting concerns and symptoms for stabilization and relief, while also having the time to explore deeper patterns, life experiences and traumas and their impact on our mental health. Communication and understanding are paramount and we will take the time during our visits to ensure your understanding and answer any questions you may have. You will not feel rushed.
