I value having the space and time to discuss my client’s experiences, while being curious about ways that their emotional and mental health impact their functioning and quality of life. I believe that medication is an important and effective tool for the treatment of many mental health disorders, but I also believe that there is both a science and an art to client care that requires thoughtful and thorough evaluation of each person’s unique needs. I am committed to creating a safe, empowering, and healing environment, where my clients can explore, learn, and grow, while guiding clients to make informed choices about medications that best meet their needs and preferences for care.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I spend time talking with my clients and supporting them through a thorough discussion of not only their mental health symptoms, but also important aspects of their bio-psychosocial history. I ensure thoughtful consideration is taken before making any diagnosis of a mental health disorder and recommendations for treatment, which may include medication, and often includes other essential non-medication interventions for wellness and healing. I help to guide my clients in identifying and working towards their goals, while being attentive to clients throughout their journey to evaluate their response, so that care can be adjusted and tailored to meet the needs of each person under my care.

I have seen Whitney Fox a few times and will continue to book my appointments with her. She is so caring and listens to everything I have to say about my mental health. We have been on the same page about my treatment. The receptionist was friendly, and the office was clean.

The receptionist at the office was nice and friendly. Whitney was very thorough and was such a pleasure to talk with. I felt like she listened to me and was able to provide the best treatment possible. I look forward to seeing her again and continuing my treatment with her. I would definitely recommend.
