About Dr. Whitney Latin
Dr. Whitney Latin is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Latin received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Brown University. She then earned her medical degree from The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she received the Deans Fellowship award and a Distinction in Community Health. After an internship in Internal Medicine at NYU Winthrop Hospital, she completed her dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where she served as Chief Resident.
Throughout her training, Dr. Latin has worked on a variety of research projects and has contributed to posters and peer-reviewed publications on various dermatological conditions including psoriasis and skin cancer.
Dr. Latin’s clinical interests include inflammatory skin diseases, acne, hair loss, and pigmentary disorders. She seeks to improve and maintain the health and beauty of her patient’s skin and hair by working together as partners in achieving their medical goals. Dr. Latin is a member of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, Skin of Color Society, and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Outside of work, Dr. Latin enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and baking.

The appointment was very straight forward. I arrived, completed paper work, payed, waited, was escorted to a room, spoken to by an assistant who asked preliminary questions about my condition and took pictures, waited a while longer and then had the doctor arrive.
She swiftly introduced herself, examined the areas that were troubling me, gave a diagnosis, gave a prescription and sent me on my way. The wait was longer the actually appointment itself, but all went well.

Overall, a great visit from start to finish. Everyone was so friendly I came in and already with my documents and insurance paid my co-pay. The doctor came and listen prescribe me. I'm gonna come back in three months.

Dr. Whitney Latin was wonderful. I’m really happy I found her. I love that she’s a great listener and problem solver. She’s also very thorough. I absolutely love that! I didn’t feel rushed not one time. She was willing to answer all my question until I received a full understanding of my treatment plan. I’m very confident with her solution with improving my skin/ blemishes. I know I’ll definitely see results soon. Thanks Dr. Latin.

Dr. Latin, her Dermatology Medical Assistant, and her office were welcoming and very professional. The reason for my visit was to remove skin tags on my neck. After examining my neck, she explained what my options were; and, after my okay, proceeded to remove my skin tags. She and her assistant were very thorough and kind. I will definitely be back!
