About Dr. Whitney Maldonado
Dr. Whitney Maldonado is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and Chiropractic Physician serving the Miami community. She has also completed advanced training in areas of pediatrics, pregnancy, and family care through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association. She is certified in Webster Technique, which is used to correct pelvic imbalances, especially in expectant mothers.
Driven by her desire to help others, Dr. Maldonado attended the College of Charleston in South Carolina, where she received a B.S. in biology with an emphasis in molecular biology. She later relocated to Florida to attend one of the most prestigious chiropractic colleges in the nation, Palmer College of Chiropractic. After earning her doctorate degree with magna cum laude honors, Dr. Maldonado completed post-graduate coursework in functional medicine and chiropractic care for families. She is currently awaiting certification with the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice.
As the founder and owner of Empowered Living Chiropractic, Dr. Maldonado desires every practice member to become transformed by health. She takes a holistic or “whole person” approach to addresses the challenges that are preventing you from achieving the health you desire for yourself and for your family. Merging her knowledge of pediatrics and pregnancy with her knowledge of functional medicine, Dr. Maldonado is especially skilled in issues that commonly affect women.

In the industry I am in, I am always in front of my screens, bending, lifting heaving objects etc….I honestly never knew the importance of going to the chiropractor until I was introduced to the benefits from Dr. Maldonado. After my adjustment I felt like a brand new person. Highly recommend her for your chiropractic needs! A little piece of heaven on earth….

I would highly recommend this Doctor to my friends. The office was very welcoming and clean. I will definitely be back for a visit.
If asked to rate from 0-10 my over all experience. I would definitely not give it a 10 but a rating of 100.
