Getting to know Dr. William Kromka

My approach to care begins with situating and understanding each individual’s symptoms within the specific social, psychological, developmental, and biological contexts unique to that person. Through comprehensive evaluation and close collaboration with patients, their families, and other members of their care team, treatment planning is then tailored to each patient’s needs and preferences in a dynamic process of shared decision-making. My outpatient practice is currently telehealth only. Drawing from longstanding tried-and-true therapies as well as innovative, novel treatments, I am committed to providing high caliber evidence-based care ranging across different models of psychotherapy, medications, exercise and nutrition, and interventional treatments such as TMS. Ultimately, the common goal across each distinctive care plan is to address psychiatric symptoms in a way that alleviates suffering and equips each person with the means for sustaining that recovery and cultivating an enriching, meaningful life.
