I will work with you in the first five minutes to determine if this is a good match; then I will collect payment information if it is. We help youth with serious learning difficulties and psychiatric or neurological challenges such as lead exposure, violence, and brain injury. Attention Deficit and Anxiety disorders are further burdened by minimal or no timely or distance access to specialists. A flexible format allows our professionals to use strategies tailored to address each child's learning style, skills, interests, and needs. Our family centered tutoring, mentoring, school advocacy, and mental health combined service model originally started at the University of Illinois and Rush University Medical Center. Since 1988, it has expanded to serve hundreds of children in west side Chicago and Oak Park schools. Our interdisciplinary team offers services ranging from individual treatment to school consultation to educational rehabilitation planning and intervention. Trained facilitators work together with families and children to create and maintain portfolios that document children's progress. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois and completed residencies in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Pediatrics at the Chicago campus.
