4325 N Josey Ln, Ste 300, Carrollton, TX
Dr. Will Nutting is a board-certified Family Medicine physician dedicated to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. Originally from South Texas, his interest in the practice of medicine began at an early age when his father was receiving treatment at Mayo Clinic. While he was inspired by the expertise of the renal transplant team, it was his hometown family physician who left the greatest impression on him, realizing these experiences began to shape his ongoing commitment to accessible, relationship-driven care. Dr. Nutting’s path through higher education kept him rooted in Texas from start to finish. He began at Texas A&M University, earning a degree in Biomedical Sciences, then moved to Fort Worth to complete a Master’s in Medical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He went on to attend medical school at UT Health Science Center San Antonio; an experience that further strengthened his commitment to caring for patients and families across his home state. Dr. Nutting completed his Family and Community Medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he served as Chief Resident. Since completing his training, Dr. Nutting has been practicing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He provides comprehensive primary care, managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, with a special interest in preventive care, weight loss and in-office procedures, including joint injections. He is known for his approachable style and clear communication, taking time to ensure patients feel heard, informed, and confident in their care. He lives in Little Elm with his wife, whom he met during residency, and their two dogs, Phoebe and Zoe. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
