Dr. William Boxer provides superb internal medicine & primary care to general medicine patients as well as to patients with arthritis in the Joint Pain practice. He has special expertise in osteoporosis & as a result many NYC physicians have come to rely on his expert osteoporosis management. He was recently elected to be Fellow in the American College of Physicians. For over a decade he has supervised & actively managed the on-site infusions of Remicade, Orencia, Rituxan, Reclast & other biological treatments. Procedural skills include injections of joints/bursa, trigger fingers, ganglionic cysts, & trigger points. He has a broad primary care practice that emphasizes enduring partnerships with patients and a special emphasis on prevention. Screening for Abdominal Aortic Aneurism is performed in appropriate patients with anonsite ultrasound machine (see photo) and testing for Peripheral Arterial Disease is performed onsite. Nerve studies, ultrasound for bladder obstruction, pulmonary studies, hearing tests, and echocardiograms are all perfomed on site.
