About Dr. William Porter

Dr. Porter received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Porter completed his internship and residency at Temple University’s program at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Del., where he also served as chief resident. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Porter is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. He is in practice with Wellstar Family Medicine at Bridgemill in Canton.

Dr. Porter is a great doctor and when he has a Medicare patient opening, my husband would like to start seeing him, as well. I am very happy with him.
