About Dr. Xheni Gjergo
Dr. Gjergo provides compassionate and comprehensive foot and ankle care to her patients at the Joliet and Orland Park offices of Advanced Foot and Ankle Centers of Illinois. Her primary treatment interests include: heel pain, bunion and hammertoe pain, sports injuries, custom orthotics, and general podiatric concerns.
Dr. Gjergo originally grew up in Michigan, before coming to Chicago for her medical training. She is a proud alumni of the University of Michigan, where she graduated with a B.S. in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience. She remains an avid Wolverine sports fan. She completed her medical training at Rosalind Franklin University and residency at Ascension St. Mary’s-Chicago.
