About Dr. Xiaodong Zhang

Dr. Zhang is an Attending Physician at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of complex arrhythmias, particularly catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation/flutter and ventricular arrhythmias using cutting-edge technology. He is one of the few electrophysiologists in the country who performs these procedures without fluoroscopy, avoiding radiation exposure to both patients and staff. Dr. Zhang has exceptional ablation experience, having completed more than 2,000 ablation procedures in total. Dr. Zhang received his Bachelor of Medicine degree from Qingdao University Qingdao Medical College. He earned his PhD in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He completed his fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
