What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach is holistic and individualized. I look at the full picture—psychological, physical, social, cultural, and environmental factors—to understand each person’s unique challenges and strengths. I combine evidence-based therapeutic techniques with medication management, always with the goal of empowering clients in their healing process. I collaborate closely with my clients to develop a treatment plan that aligns with their values, goals, and lifestyle.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
After booking an appointment on Zocdoc we will send you a link to our platform, intake forms and link for the scheduled sessions. During our initial session (45–60 minutes), we’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to better understand your background, current symptoms, and treatment goals. Together, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication options and recommendations for therapy or lifestyle supports.
Follow-up sessions (20–30 minutes) focus on medication management, tracking your progress, and making any necessary adjustments. I also like to include a brief therapeutic tool or coping strategy at the end of each session to help you build practical skills between visits. I currently accept commercial and Marketplace insurance not Medicare or Medicaid.
