First, I have never ever had a doctor offer me a glass of water. That kindness set the tone - Dr. Swica was thorough and didn't dismiss any of my symptoms as "oh that's just aging," she explained why my body was reacting as it was, and set a clear plan to deal with the underlying cause of my symptoms. Her bedside manner was excellent and it was just a bonus that we could relate about our kids. I commuted over an hour from NJ to see her based on my sister in law raving about her, and it looks like she was right. Thank you Dr. Swica.

Dr Swica is the most attentive Doctor I've ever had. She takes meticulous notes, remembers details from the past during each visit, and thinks flexibly to find optimal treatment for complex bundles of symptoms. She draws on her patients' experiences. For me, stories of other women having memory problems that interfere with their work, writing a book, teaching, making decisions and so on, and learning that estrogen could help , was really encouraging. I am grateful to have my mind and liveliness back.

Dr. Swica is thorough and kind and knows her stuff. She really helped me manage peri-menopause.
Was very happy with the attention to detail Dr. Swica showed and her thoroughness.

Dr. Swica is extremely knowledgeable in women's health and general medicine. She spent a lengthy amount of time getting to know me and my history asking tons of questions along the way. Knowing I was paying out of pocket she referred to my history to narrow down the blood work we would need to order and really not only saved me money but actually helped me in the right direction to solving my problem. She is also extremely communicative and overall just an awesome Dr specializing in both women's health and general medicine, a one-stop shop so to say :-). Highly recommend seeing her!

She spent so much time really getting to know me and my medical history. She listened enough to realize that there was something simple to be done to help my situation instead of something more complicated and surgical.

Yael is great. She puts me at ease and I'm really nervous when it comes to doctors. I like that she's active over email and will respond to my questions quickly and thoroughly. I highly recommend her.
The visit was thorough in terms of history taking and past & present medical concerns. Dr. Swica took her time and made sure that my questions were answered. She has always made herself available for follow-up questions and/or concerns.
I am in menopause and was looking for a doctor who would be sensitive to my concerns. Dr. Swica is that doctor! During my first visit she spent a lot of time with me, taking a careful medical history, and listening to my symptoms with care and compassion. Her physical exam was painless and she did her own blood draw. She helped me more that I had hoped possible. She continues to be concerned about and attentive to my over-all health and care. Follow-up appointments have been easy to schedule. I recommend her without any hesitation!!
I enjoyed seeing Dr. Swica. She was very thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions as well as explain anything I didn't understand. She didn't rush, her exams were gentle. She was very focused and attentive!
