After a session with this particular psychotherapist, you’ll need another therapist just to get your nervous system back on track. He’ll mock you in the most intellectual way possible, politely agreeing with everything you say while adding extra “facts” to make it sound even better. He won’t actually be listening - he’s simply following protocol. Nothing can surprise him, he’s the smartest doctor on Earth, after all. He’ll show up fashionably late and will have already drawn his conclusions about you before the session even ends.

The doctor seemed to be focused on issues other than what I intended to discuss. He also recommended I immediately discontinue a drug which I know needs a titration period. When I tried to discontinue it altogether last night, I was unable to sleep and began to shake uncontrollably.
