Yalanda has passionately provided over 21 years of nursing care across many specialties. Her professional background includes caring for dedicated veterans at the James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, FL. She has also worked as a Public Health Nurse for the Florida Department of Health and Polk County Public Schools. Additionally, Yalanda has extensive experience in care coordination and home health care.
She earned her Bachelor's degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and completed her Master's in Nursing at Maryville University. Yalanda further advanced her expertise by obtaining a Post-Master's Certificate in Mental Health Nursing from Maryville University.
