Yana Akselrud, DPM has been practicing Podiatric medicine and surgery in the New York City area for the past 6 years. Dr. Akselrud is Board Qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Akselrud is a graduate from the New York School of Podiatric Medicine and did her three year medical and surgical training at NYU Brooklyn where she was trained in forefoot and rearfoot surgery. Dr. Akselrud was raised in Brooklyn most of her life and is a native Russian speaker and proficient Spanish speaker. Dr. Akselrud splits her time seeing patients all over NYC's finest boroughs. She is currently on staff at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and St. Joseph's Hospital.
