About Yanina Filipova
Yanina Filipova is the founder of Yanina Acupuncture Clinic and has been practicing medicine for more than a decade. She holds a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. Yanina is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, a Board Certified Herbalist, and an active member of the NCCAOM. She has completed extensive training in various modalities, including Sports Medicine, Facial Rejuvenation, and Labor and Delivery at Lutheran Hospital. Yanina has collaborated with Memorial Sloan Kettering and the You Can Thrive Organization, supporting patients and cancer survivors in addressing the emotional and physical challenges they face during difficult times.
In recent years, her practice has focused on pain management, long COVID, fertility, and emotional disturbances.

I come to NY for business quite a lot and I’ve been fortunate to find Yanina years ago. I follow her ever since.
She is always the best, puts me back together after long flights, stiff neck, digestive issues associated with change of climate and time zones. Grateful to know her and love my acupuncture sessions.

I see Yanina for help with hips muscles tension and also for depression/anxiety relief. Yanina chooses a very holistic approach- taking time to ask about my current situation and what she can do during each session to help. I feel the effect of each session lasting for awhile, so for me it is such a treat to be seen by her on a weekly basis. Highly recommended for the whole mind and body therapy approach.

I have been to many acupuncturists and Yanina is exceptionally knowledgeable not only on acupuncture but also herbs! She is incredibly kind, patient and works to customize each treatment to the needs of the patient. Highly recommend!

I came to Yanina with a pretty bad heel pain and it was really bad. I was basically limping and lived on motrin for the past few days. I felt significantly better after two treatments. Yanina explained everything I should be doing at home and also showed me few exercises. She is very nice and has an excellent bad manner.

Yanina is a terrific acupuncturist. She was kind, informative and a pleasure to work with. I was having digestive issues and with her knowledge and help she remedied the issues. I am so thankful to have met her and received her services. Highly recommend!

Knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to understand my concerns and answered all of my questions with patience and care. I felt at ease and confident in her abilities throughout the entire session.
She made sure to explain everything she was doing, which helped me to relax and fully trust the process. I left the session feeling rejuvenated and revitalized.

Yanina provided an outstanding care for me during my visit. She is professional and very knowledgeable. I had a neck problem and she recommended a specific treatment routine plus a valuable advice on my posture and body movements to ease the neck tension. Yanina is a pleasure to work with. She is an excellent communicator and easy to schedule with. She took her time learning about my needs and explaining her process and recommendations. Yanina is very accommodating with acupuncture and will work with your preferences. I felt so good and relaxed after our sessions. Also, her knowledge goes beyond acupuncture and she offered great advice for broader wellness topics like diet and exercise. It’s hard to come by a quality professional like Yanina. Highly recommend!

I have seen Yana for several months and have seen improvements overall in my back, neck & digestion. The first visit involved getting to know my medical history and then she gave recommendations on what could help. Her bedside manner is great and I feel she really understands my issues and works to make me feel better.
