Dr. Rastgar is an adult and addiction psychiatrist and founder of Elevate Mind and Wellness in Beverly Hills. He earned his Bachelors Degree with Distinction in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan and his MD Degree from The George Washington University, where he obtained a top-tier medical education in the nation's capital. During residency, he was awarded the coveted Resident of the Year award for his distinguished performance and subsequently granted the title of Chief Resident. With a strong interest in education, Dr. Rastgar has led conferences in adult and geriatric psychiatry, underscoring his commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

My approach to care is rooted in understanding your unique needs. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where my patients feel heard and empowered.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
For new patients, the first session typically involves a comprehensive evaluation, where we discuss your medical and psychiatric history, current symptoms, and any ongoing / past treatments. This helps me develop a clear understanding of your needs and determine the most effective strategies moving forward.
Depending on your presenting symptoms, treatment may include medication management, psychotherapy, or a combination of both. I will also focus on empowering you with knowledge and strategies to improve your overall wellness.
Please note that I do not provide the following services: FMLA (medical leave of absence) documentation, short term / long term disability evaluations, forensic evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations, workman's compensation evaluations, legal evaluations, court-ordered psychiatric evaluations, expert witness reports / testimony,

Doctor Rastgar is the best of the best. I've had one visit so far and Dr Rastgar was very friendly and super easy to talk to. I get very nervous talking to new people and he made the appointment so easy and comfortable the hour flew by. I will definitely be continuing my future visits with him.

Dr. Rastgar is very easy to talk to he shows concern about the patient he works with you to get you through whatever you may be going through ...I missed one of my appointments and Dr. Rastgar called me maybe the next day to check up on metalk with me to make sure I was okay ...I d tell all of my friends about the Doctor he is a very good Doctor I've been sherching for a doctor for almost 5 years and I wouldn't trade him for the world I feel very comfortable with my Doctor he's the best I've seen in 5 years he takes tie with you he's concerned about his patients and I a very happy with Dr. Rastgar I don't think you'd find another any better but when you do you better keep him because their very rare now days he was above and beyond y expectations I very happy!!!
