Getting to know Dr. Yetunde Falade

I believe that healing begins with being truly heard. I take time to listen to my clients’ stories, experiences, and concerns without judgment. My goal is to understand the whole person — not just symptoms — and to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel respected and valued. I recognize that mental health is influenced by many factors, including life experiences, cultural background, family dynamics, spirituality, and personal values. I approach each client as unique and work collaboratively to understand what may be contributing to their current challenges. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy singing and listening deeply — both of which reflect my natural inclination toward connection, expression, and presence. These qualities shape the way I show up for my clients with empathy, patience, and compassion.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, respectful, and non-judgmental environment. We will take time to discuss your concerns, personal history, and what brought you to seek care. I will ask thoughtful questions, listen closely, and work with you to begin developing a treatment plan that feels appropriate and manageable. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful — knowing that they are not alone and that care is a collaborative process. There is no pressure to share everything at once; we move at a pace that feels right for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

To expedite the process of booking and to help make the journey easier and faster, we ask that you upload all the necessary documents on Zocdoc prior to your session to include; Health Insurance card State ID card Completed Intake form Signed Consent form We always encourage you to look out for emails from our billing company and EHR (Electronic Health Records) for anyother necessary documents to complete prior to the session. Our purpose is to help make the journey easier and to eliminate the stigma and barriers to mental healthcare and provide the highest quality and compassionate care based on individualized needs, utilizing evidence-based practices. To support our patients at all stages of their recovery, allowing them to live their best lives. My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and patient-centered. While medication can be an important part of treatment, I believe in offering a wide range of therapeutic options beyond pharmacological therapy. Together, we explore evidence-based treatments that may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle strategies, and coordination with other providers when appropriate. I strive to understand the root causes of distress, which may stem from emotional, cultural, social, spiritual, or environmental factors. Treatment is never one-size-fits-all, and I actively involve clients in decision-making to ensure care aligns with their goals, comfort level, and values.

I had an amazing experience with Dr Falade. She took her time with me and overall I felt very comfortable with her.
Very caring and thorough. I haven’t felt that heard/seen from a care provider in a very long time.

Dr Falade is simply the best. I felt heard. I will rebook with her
She gave me very specific list of things to get done before i could get my medication, something that I have been on for over 6 months, but i had to change insurance & find a new provider, after I completed all the steps that were asked of me like an ekg, and proof of prior care, I took all of the intake forms, yet I did not receive my medication, and have yet to get any real update, I was told (I’m in the process of connecting with my collaborating physician to see if any additional information is needed. We’re also taking into consideration that you are about 50 miles away from our location, which can affect how we manage certain medications via telehealth. I’ll follow up with you as soon as I hear back.) I was told to make an additional appt. (More money) This Doctor can’t make decisions therefore don’t waste your time, find a provider that can actually advocate for your care. I have been weeks without medication, I was not a priority so I doubt any other patient is.

Amazing experience!!! Highly recommend
"Dr. Falade at Brain Psychiatry, Inc. has completely changed how I view psychiatry. In the past, I felt like just another name on a chart, rushed through brief appointments that left me feeling unheard. But Dr. Falade is the exact opposite--she's incredibly thorough, compassionate, and genuinely invested in her patients' well-being. She doesn't just hand out prescriptions and move on; she takes the time to explore every aspect of my life, from my sleep patterns to my social habits, encouraging me to improve those areas while offering thoughtful, practical guidance. Her recommendations are always well-informed and effective, and I feel like we're working as a team to improve my mental health. What really sets her apart is how much she cares--she celebrates my wins, no matter how small, and always makes me feel like my progress matters."
I came to Dr Falade completely shattered, she listened, never judged, and was able to create a great treatment plan for me. I’m glad that I found her, will introduce the rest of my family to her.
I loved the care I received from Dr. Falade and do plan to go back. The doctor during my visit was compassionate, kind, and just an overall funny person
