You may feel lost and confused. This can lead to sadness, fatigue, loss of interest in activities, or constant anxiety about things that don’t seem to bother others. You may feel like you’ve lost control of your emotions.
I understand because I’ve been there. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I specialize in helping college students and international students. I have experience treating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, more. If you need both therapy and medication management, I’m the right fit. You only need to pay one co-pay for both, making it more cost-effective.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Yixi strives to provide comprehensive and individualized care to all my clients. During the initial assessment, which lasts 60 minutes, I take the time to thoroughly understand your unique concerns, medical history, and goals. This assessment is crucial for both therapy and medication management.
For follow-up therapy sessions, each session is 60 minutes long. These sessions are focused on exploring your thoughts and feelings, developing coping strategies, and working towards your mental health goals.
Follow-up appointments for medication management are 30 minutes long. During these sessions, I closely monitor your progress, make any necessary adjustments to your medication, and address any side effects or concerns you may have.
If you require both therapy and medication management, I offer 60-minute sessions where we can address both aspects of your treatment in an integrated manner. Yixi mainly practice CBT for talk therapy.
