Dr. Billy Joseph, DNP, PMHNP/FNP-BC, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner in Florida who has been practicing since 2017. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing from the University of North Florida, a Post Graduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Wilkes University, a Practice Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner certification from Nova Southeastern University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, an Associate of Arts in Nursing from Miami Dade College - North Campus, and a Licensed Practical Nurse Certification from Sheridan Technical College.
As a PMHNP/FNP, Dr. Billy provides therapy and prescribes medications for patients with mental health illnesses or substance abuse issues. She conducts physical and psychosocial assessments, offers emergency psychiatric care, evaluates treatment effectiveness, diagnoses and treats common acute psychiatric issues, and manages psychopharmacologic treatment in collaboration with psychiatrists. She also provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy to her clients. In her spare time, Dr. Billy enjoys reading and watching TV.

The provider couldn't hear me over the TV in the background. She was talking to other people in the room next to her. When she could tell I was getting annoyed, she started loudly shushing them. The video call ended. She called my cell phone and I couldn't hear her over the yelling. Another person was in the room while she was on the phone discussing my son's medical needs.

Ms Joseph is wonderful. I was recommended to her thru my primary care physician. She is always on time and her bedside manner is alway kind and feels natural. Ms Joseph talked thru my concerns of past medication and has worked with me to find a comfortable dosage. I have recommended her to others as well. She is an asset to whatever company she may work for.

Dr. Yolande Joseph is knowledgeable and kind. She shows concern and compassion when we discuss how I’m doing and my care. Timely appointments and her friendly staff are great for me as a college student. I am grateful for the excellent support I have received and highly recommend Dr. Joseph as a physician.

Very nice and very helpful and understanding! She understood my situation and helped me right away and explained all that was needed in the future to continue care. It was a welcome surprise! Seen too many doctors and nurse practitioners lacking bedside manner and general empathy for patients. And this visit I left with a smile and not tears!

I waited an hour. The contact number didn't work and it took CS to get her on the visit. She was the dr recommended when I asked for a specific appointment. The specialty was listed under her. Then she tells me she doesn't do it. All that time for nothing. First experience on here and I'll never be back
