About Dr. Yoon Cohen
Dr. Yoon Cohen is a Board-Certified Dermatologist offering a unique patient care approach — she operates on a direct pay, no-insurance basis, making her ideal for patients seeking urgent dermatological diagnosis or treatment.
She received her medical degree from the University New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. She completed her Dermatology Residency training at Lake Erie Consortium for Osteopathic Medical Training and a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Arizona. Dr. Cohen is Double Board-Certified in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology by the American Board of Osteopathic Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
INSURANCE IS NOT ACCEPTED. Dr. Cohen's practice operates as a Direct Care micro-dermatology provider. The intake forms and secure credit card information must be completed within 24 hours of receipt or your appointment will not be confirmed. All initial consults include a skin check plus your dermatology complaint.
Many PPO insurance plans will reimburse for out of network providers. We are considered “out-of-network” providers. Non-local HMOs may reimburse. Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Savings Accounts (FLEX) may be used. Medicare patients will be asked to sign an Opt-Out contract prior to care. If you are concerned, please check with your insurance provider for their rules and regulations regarding reimbursement. Please let us know during the intake process if a bill is required for your insurance plan.

The doctor cancelled on me, by text, last minute, as I was driving to my appointment. I showed up and nobody was there and they weren't answering their phones. I never received a follow up apology either, if you text me to cancel, why can't you text me to apologize to earn my business that I was paying you cash for. I will never go back nor trust ZocDoc doctors. Be aware!

My experience with Dr.Cohen has always been positive!! She’s very clear and explains everything in detail. Thanks to her I was scheduled immediately for Mohs surgery after a positive result for Basel cell!! I also was able to get in for an appointment without waiting 8 months like other dermatologist. I highly recommend Dr.Cohen!!!

My visit with Dr. Cohen went very well. She asked and answered questions as to my well-being-emotional as well as physical. I felt she was very thorough with the examination & answered any question I ask her and I did not feel rushed at any time. I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen.
