Staff were extremely nice, funny and informative. Seemed like they enjoyed their job. The doctor was patient and concerned for my well being. I came in with a chronic illness. Because I’ve been dealing with the illness for years, I thought it was important to get a stable primary care giver. Doctor yousef patiently listened to my history and created a plan that made sense.

I checked in by my appointment time. I waited for one hour to be seen. Then my measurements were taken, and I waited another hour. Then I was informed that it was too late for the office to see me for the service I was there to receive. I was told that I should come back for another appointment in the morning. However, I live over one hour away and would have scheduled an appointment with someone else had I known I would spend two hours at the office, plus additional commuting time, plus pay for a service that I did not receive.

When I called I was able to get through with no issues. The staff has exceptional customer service. They are all friendly and the office is super clean. You don’t get that nasty hospital/doctor’s office smell when you enter. Even the bathroom was super clean. Dr. Talavari is so amazing that I used to see him at his DC location and followed him all the way to Chevy Chase, MD (hour and some change drive from what I’m used to). That’s how great of a doc he is. He listens w/out judgement and his new staff are very friendly, supportive and helpful. I would recommend anyone to see him.

I saw Dr. Talavari for a pre-op consultation; my first visit couldn’t have gone better. The office was clean and organized, the staff was efficient, and Dr. Talavari was caring, thorough, and easy to talk to, as were the medical assistant and blood technician. I felt completely at ease and well cared for.

Dr. Talavari was curt and dismissive. I would say he seemed disinterested in my symptoms listening fully and it was as though my concerns were below him. If it is something that cannot be treated by him, he will not react with empathy and understanding. I would recommend you go if you have a cold or flu but anything underlying that- be aware of his bedside manners.

The appointment process was great from setting the appointment to checkin but the visit was not a good experience. My appointment lasted maybe 4 minutes. 3 or those minutes I used to explain my symptoms the other minute the doctor simply said “I’ll give you antibiotics, do you need anything else.” I explained that I was very concerned and then he asked me “what would you like me to prescribe you, how about steroids” smh I asked for a chest xray. He then stated that would not be helpful but wrote the script any way. I did not like feeling rushed. I was not help, and I left the office more discouraged than when I arrived. I did not feel heard or that the doctor took me serious. It was not a good experience.
