About Yusnaida Hernandez
Yusnaida Hernandez Iznaga is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and International Medical Graduate with over 14 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas – Carlos J. Finlay in Camaguey, Cuba. She continued with a fellowship program in Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Manuel Ascunce Domenech Teaching Hospital in Camaguey, Cuba.
Yusnaida entered the medical field in the United States in 2009 as a medical and surgical assistant at medical offices in Miami, FL. In 2012, she joined Bowes Dermatology as a Lead Medical Assistant. While working at Bowes, Yusnaida continued her education and first became a registered nurse and then pursued and completed her Master of Science in Nursing. Yusnaida continues to pursue her lifelong desire to deliver the greatest quality of care for her patients.
In her free time, Yusnaida enjoys reading the latest developments in cosmetics and dermatology. She loves spending time with her family and friends while exploring restaurants in South Florida.

Difficult to find the office. Doctor was very quick and rushed the appointment.
It was blocked for an hour but i was outside in 15 min. I would not go back here. Based on my history i would have expected a more thorough skin exam.

All staff were great, my experience with Genesis/pre screening was exceptionally pleasant n attentive, then the Dr Yusnaida Hernandez was phenomenal, a breath of fresh air, she greeted me so warmly it’s like I knew her for ages, I felt safe and felt hopeful that she had my situation under control n I was properly examined, and was given maximum attention with a few gentle taps reassuring me that she got me and she explained very clearly in English that I’ll be ok very soon!
She went over my previous meds n explained that the one she’s prescribing is a bit stronger n directions how to apply,& when to use the powder to keep area dry all the time!
I had a very pleasant experience and was truly impressed by Her and her staff.
may God continue to bless them n guide them in all aspects of their lives .

Dr. Hernandez was incredibly insightful and informative about the skin screening process, explaining why it needs to be done annually for prevention. She was kind and considerate, ensuring my appointments were conducted in Spanish as per my preference.
Additionally, the staff was very helpful and friendly, making the experience even better. The office environment was clean and welcoming. Highly recommended!

My first time visiting this office and I had a great appointment. Very nice space, parking garage nearby (only $5), and everyone I interacted with was very kind. Wait time was a bit longer than ideal but I didn’t find it to be terrible, I think it’s probably best to make an earlier appointment. Will definitely be back.

I’ve seen a lot of derms over the years and she’s been one of the best I’ve seen! Very knowledgeable and asked questions to understand my needs and concerns. Only confusing part of the entire appt is that google maps sends you to a parking garage a few buildings down from the actual address. Luckily it’s a medical campus so I asked an assistant in a nearby building and was directed to the right place!
