About Dr. Yussein Aguirre

Yussein Aguirre, MD, completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2007. She went on to complete her Family Medicine residency and maternal child medicine fellowship at JSP Health Network in Fort Worth in 2010 and 2011, respectively. She is board certified in Family Medicine and fluent in English and Spanish. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2023. Patients would come to see Dr. Aguirre for general family medicine concerns, such as acute illnesses or concerns, management of chronic medical conditions, and women's health. While not taking care of patients, Dr. Aguirre enjoys taking care of her family and playing tennis.

Booking process online was easy as a first-time patient. Not sure if it was an administrative problem or problem with the medical staff but my visit was extremely disappointing. I fasted for eight hours and arrived one hour early to my annual physical. I received a hurried exam with the expectation of getting bloodwork done at the end. At the end said "You can try to get your blood work done but it might be closed." Surely enough, the bloodwork lab had been closed for 15 minutes. Not only was I able to make an appointment for after the lab closes (and was still told to fast), I arrived an hour early which was 45 MINUTES BEFORE the lab closed. The nurses and doctors knew this and did not inform me or get my appointment done in time to get the necessary bloodwork. In short, I fasted all day just to have my stomach squeezed and to read for half an hour in the waiting room. Begrudgingly going back only to finally get my blood work done and then never again.
