I was disappointed by my experience with Dr. Azim. I was a new patient for a consultation and was told by the practice these appointments are generally 40-60 minutes. He joined late, which I understand; delays happen in medicine. When the video call began, he stared at me without providing direction, so I began explaining my concerns and history. He cut me off and repeatedly interrupted me. I eventually said, "I'll shut up and let you ask the questions."
The appointment fell far short of the 40-60 minutes I was told to expect. Near the end, I asked if I could ask a follow-up question; he indicated he intended to end the appointment. He did allow me to ask my question and offered some suggestions, which I appreciated, but I found the overall interaction frustrating and, at times, dismissive. I left feeling more anxious than when I arrived.
I normally don't leave reviews, but felt this experience warranted sharing. I won't be scheduling a follow-up, nor can I recommend this provider.

Dr. Azim has been great sice I stared with the practice several months ago. My doctor referred me to im for a specific type of treatment. He explained everything very thoroughly and in language I could actually understand! My questions have been answered all along. It is refreshing to have transparency in a doctor's office!

I cannot speak highly enough of this doctor and his office. He was meticulous and compassionate and made very clear and serious to make me feel at ease and to truly talk through all of my options and potential diagnoses; he made sure to look me in the eye and take time to really dissect and ask clear questions rather than sit there filling out a form. I felt so comfortable and cared for and I would recommend him over and over.

I was relieved that I could see Dr. Azim in his office. I prefer to interact with my physician in person. The office arranged the inperson appointment for me. Most psychiatrist only see patience through a video conference.
I actually enjoyed the session. It was almost like two old friends having an
