Getting to know Yvonne Joseph
Yvonne Joseph is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After many years of working as a Registered Nurse in different work settings, I could not denial my passion for psychiatry. Mental health became my world and my life. I love caring for the mentally challenged. I went back to school to concentrate on mental health and pursue my dream. I received my bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Texas and continued to complete my Master of Science as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated with Honors from my bachelor’s and master’s degree. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, a national honor society, a member of Psi Beta psychology honors society, a member of Sigma Alpha PI and National society of leadership and success. I have cared for numerous patients and their families in assessing, diagnosing, and treating the mental needs of patients with so much care and compassion. I am also a faculty at Walden University where I clinically prepare psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner students as future psychiatric provider. I am Board Certified in Psychiatry, licensed by the State of Texas, Minnesota and California.

Dr Joseph is wonderful and kind! She always makes sure to check in with you thoroughly, listens, and works to talk through and resolve any difficulties you may be facing in your day to day. Her help has gone a long way in helping me develop better habits. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr Joseph for about a year now and she is hands down one of the best! She’s always prompt for appointments and is sure to accommodate me however she can. I love her personality and she never makes me feel like just a patient she’s seeing that day. Highly recommend her!!!

Yvonne is absolutely amazing. She is so genuine and positive. I appreciate her kindness and professionalism. I’m always comfortable to talk to her and she just listens. She makes sure she validates my feelings and truly gives me constructive ways to live a more healthier lifestyle. I started seeing her during the most difficult time of my life and I’m ever so grateful. She makes me feel like I’m not alone and my diagnosis does not control me.
