About Dr. Zachary Eyre
At Experience Dermatology, we place the patient experience at the heart of everything we do. Founded by Dr. Zachary W. Eyre, MD MBA, our privately owned practice in Atlanta provides comprehensive dermatological care for patients of all ages.
As a third-generation dermatologist, Dr. Eyre’s passion for skin runs in his blood! Growing up in his family’s practice, and working in various positions from front desk receptionist to medical assistant, Dr. Eyre gained firsthand insight into the patient's journey. This hands-on experience gave him a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to create an exceptional patient experience at every touchpoint.
Dr. Eyre graduated at the top of his class with a bachelor's degree in Finance and was recognized as Student of the Year. He then achieved a rare and distinguished accomplishment by simultaneously earning both his MD and MBA from the University of Utah, becoming the first student to do so. Following an internal medicine internship in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Eyre completed his dermatology residency at Emory University, where he served as chief resident and earned a certificate of distinction in healthcare management and leadership.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Eyre is a dedicated husband and father to his wife and two children, with a third on the way. He is active in his local church congregation and finds joy in hobbies like fishing, hiking, playing the piano, sculpting, and even sewing—he hand-sews some of his own ties!
This unique blend of medical expertise, business acumen, and real-world experience equips Dr. Eyre with the skills necessary to ensure that every patient at Experience Dermatology receives not only the highest level of care but also a personalized and positive experience, from start to finish.
