He moved to Michigan during his psychiatric residency at Detroit Wayne County Health Authority. Dr. Baha has experience working in many different fields of psychiatry, including, but not limited to correctional psychiatry (performing evaluations for pre-trial and post-trial criminal sex offenders), refugee medicine, emergency psychiatry and interventional psychiatry. Dr. Baha also sees more mild conditions including treating individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Along with his private practice, Premier Psych, PLC, Dr. Baha is also staffed through Great Lakes Integrated, working as a psychiatric collaborator and works part-time with ACCESS in Dearborn, MI, providing psychiatric evaluations, consultations and assessments for individuals of all ages. Dr. Baha's family arrived in the USA in the 1970's from Afghanistan and was born in Anaheim, CA. His most memorable experiences as a provider include providing psychiatric services to Afghan minors who arrived without guardians to the United States when American troops withdrew from Afghanistan in June of 2021.
