About Zara Hassan
Zara Hassan is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. Zara earned her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Public health. She then received her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Mercy College in the Bronx.
Zara received extensive clinical training in hospitals and practices throughout NYC and Long Island. Zara always knew she had a strong passion for dermatology and did her elective rotation in dermatology in NYC. She is passionate about providing quality patient care and enjoys working closely with patients to achieve both medical and cosmetic improvements of their skin.
Zara is a member of the Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). Zara is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. Zara is born and raised in New York. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids and traveling.

Dr. Seemed uncompassionate. I didn’t know my app was over after she left. She said the nurse would be in for a test. Dr. Never said good bye. I asked the nurse if the doctor was coming back in, and she said no.

10 across the board! I was seen despite me booking same day thru ZocDoc & them being booked on their website. Excellent staff, super clean office & Dr. Hassan was a great communicator, listener & diagnosed my concern & offered multiple options I can take to assist with my issue. She made me feel so comfortable dispute the issue being in a sensitive place. I totally recommend!!! Loved her & ill be back.
