About Zarema Carrier
Zarema Carrier is a certified Nurse Practitioner with 14 years of experience and expertise in general and surgical dermatology. She specializes in treating a wide range of skin conditions for patients of all ages, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and skin cancer screening and treatment.
Zarema’s mission is to use her extensive knowledge and skills in dermatology to make a positive impact on the lives of her patients. She takes pride in helping them restore their confidence and improve their quality of life. She considers it a privilege to treat patients of all ages and build special long term relationships with them and their families while managing chronic and challenging skin conditions.
Originally from Ukraine, Zarema graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. After moving to the United States, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, graduating with high honors.
Zarema is an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Dermatology Society, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Outside of work, Zarema enjoys traveling with her family and engaging in outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking. She also likes baking, cooking, gardening, gathering with friends, and cherishing quality time with her loved ones.

The practice is quite busy and was running behind already for a 10am appointment. However, the staff, medical assistant and RN that I saw were professional, thorough, informative and personable. I will return for follow-up and I do recommend this practice.

The staff was very friendly. I brought my 3month old and the staff was very helpful, they assisted me with the check in and paperwork process. The doctor was very clear with my consultation. She was very patient with me when my daughter had a meltdown in the office and she had to wait until I calmed her down to continue.
