Dr. Temiz earned her medical degree from Ataturk University School of Medicine in Turkey and completed her Psychiatry Residency and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Her long-standing passion for working with children, adolescents, and adults allows her to develop and nurture long-term relationships with patients and their families. She treats patients aged 3 to over 90 years old who may have ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorder, and many other disorders.

She is an excellent listener who is able to truly empathize with her patients. Her level of awareness and knowledge is very high. Most importantly for me, she listens wholeheartedly and genuinely focuses on finding effective solutions.
