About Dr. Zhanna Branovan
Zhanna Branovan, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and has nearly 30 years of experience. She is a co-founder of Advanced Internal Medicine in Wayne, New Jersey and is affiliated with Atlantic Health System.
Dr. Branovan received her medical degree from and completed her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, one of the nation’s largest programs for medical education.
Before co-founding Advanced Internal Medicine, Dr. Branovan worked as an internist at the Cardiology Associates. Over the years she has written articles on topics related to her specialty.
Working with diverse patients with diverse conditions early in her career helped shape her philosophy for how she has practiced medicine over the past few decades.
“The focus of today’s healthcare system is for doctors to see as many patients in as little time as possible and apply care with a one-size-fits-all brush,” she said. “Not only does this model not work, it also significantly jeopardizes quality of care. What does work, I’ve found, is delivering personalized high-quality care rooted in the mind-body-spirit connection.”
