About Dr. Zhexiang Li
Dr. Li Wellness specializes in internal medicine and medical weight loss. At our center, we care for our patients with passion and dedication.
Dr. Li holds double board certifications in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She has been in private internal medicine practice since 2001 and added a Medical Weight Loss program in 2006.
She focuses on the medical treatment of overweight, obesity, and related conditions. Dr. Li approaches each patient with a comprehensive program that includes diet and nutrition, exercise, lifestyle changes, and, when indicated, prescriptions for appetite suppressants and/or other appropriate medications. Her treatment can also include acupuncture if desired.
Dr. Li received her MD from Hunan Medical University in China in 1990. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ, in 2001, and soon after became board certified in Internal Medicine. In 2003, she became accredited in Medical Acupuncture after completing the Training for Physicians program at the Helms Medical Institute at UCLA, California.
With a passion for medicine, Dr. Li is committed to helping her patients reach their weight loss goals and improve their overall well-being.
