About Zobia Wasielczyk
In my 20-year medical career, I have been deeply involved in direct patient care and research across various disciplines. I have worked in hospitals and private clinics as a Phlebotomist and Hemodialysis Technician, Clinic Access Manager, Home Hemodialysis Patient Educator, Liver Transplant Surgical Team Member, and Volunteer Coordinator and Member of Remote Area Medical Clinics. My professional interests include women’s health, care for rural and underserved communities, preventing chronic diseases through lifestyle modifications, empowering patients through education, and improving clinical quality measures using quality improvement principles in global health.
I hold a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Utah and a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Virginia University. My clinical experience spans Nephrology, Vascular, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, and Urgent Care.
Outside of medicine, I love being a mother to my baby daughter. When I’m not with her, you can find me traveling the world, exploring cultures, going on outdoor adventures, hiking, dancing, cooking, and enjoying food with family and friends.

Since moving to Laveen, I have had different primary care providers before finally finding Zobia. I have several chronic health conditions, so managing my care can be overwhelming with all the different specialists, medications, and appointments. I didn't feel like my previous providers really listened or took time to understand the history and root causes of my medical conditions.
Zobia has been completely different. She listens carefully, pays attention to the details, and has helped me organize everything into a clear plan to improve my health.
If you're looking for a primary care provider in Laveen, I highly recommend Zobia PA-C. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly takes the time to understand her patients. I finally feel like I have someone in my corner who is helping me get healthy again.
