Park Avenue Laser Vision was the third office I visited after I decided to get laser corrective surgery. First, your first visit is to make sure you are a good candidate for this type of laser surgery. Best part? No need to dilate my pupils! What a relief after EVERY place I’ve been to before insisted it was necessary, especially since these visits were right before work. Second, whether speaking to a fellow or the front desk, everyone was educated enough to answer all my questions. Third, when it comes to payments there is no Used Car salesmen techniques. WYSIWYG at this place. Post-op review will be posted in the coming weeks.

It was slow to see the doctor but it was deliberate as he is an expert in one of the conditions I suffered from so he wanted to take extra time to chat with me. He's excellent and his staff is wonderful. Highly recommend.
She's got a quirky personality. Definitely seems good at her job and asks a lot of questions about what's bothering you. No nonsense though. They have a lot going on at any given time also so while I was seen within 10 minutes of arriving for my appointment I didn't get our of there for 75 minutes, which was unexpected.

I made an appointment w Dr. Z for my tearing and a general exam. The office was nice and clean. The staff were very welcoming. My wait for the doctor was short. She was very thorough with her exam and explained that my blepharitis was causing the problem. Her bedside manner was excellent and she patiently answered all my questions. Highly recommend!
Doctor John Pilavas is an amazing doctor who i will always go for my vision care. Excellent performance and bedside service!!! I got 20/20 vision and had a painless recovery process for lasik. Overall, he is truly a very cordial/caring doctor, thorough in examinations, and professional in all areas. I'm the type of person who will go for miles to see my trusted doctors, so I sincerely recommend anyone to see him, especially if you are in the neighbor.
