I am forever grateful to have crossed paths with Dr. Kausel. My wife found her on Zoc Doc and we booked an appointment after reading the other great reviews you see here. They could not be more accurate and you could not be in better, kinder hands. I initially visited her with a lump on the side of my neck. She sent me for bloodwork and a biopsy after which it was determined I had a rare form of thyroid cancer. Before even meeting with me to discuss the diagnosis, Dr. Kausel had proactively arranged an appointment for me with a top doctor at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Within a few weeks, I had surgery and am cancer free. In a difficult conversation Dr. Kausel delivered my diagnosis to my wife and I professionally and compassionately. She met with us after her office hours to accommodate my schedule and stayed with us to answer all of our questions and comfort us as we digested the news.
