“My experience with the E87th branch of StarPro Physical Therapy was excellent. I had been a patient when it was still Professional Physical Therapy in 2023 and was really pleased to see that the same staff were still working at StarPro, including Aleksia and Erik. It was great to work with the same set of people again this time, after my second hip replacement. Aleksia, Erik, and Jeff are fantastic: professional, extremely knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. They took the time to explain what was happening and made me feel as though I had ownership over my recovery. I really can't say enough good things about StarPro - and especially Aleksia, Erik, and Jeff. Hopefully they’ll still be there in 15-20 years, after I wear out these implants and need new ones.”

“After dealing with a back injury for years and having a terrible experience at a different physical therapy place, I went to see Aleksia at StarPro's E87th location and could not have been more thankful for her hard work and expertise! I could barely walk without pain before meeting with Aleksia. Within weeks, the program she installed helped ease the stabbing pain and I could finally go longer stints feeling much better. I cannot recommend Aleksia & her team enough! Even if things got crowded, her and the team always made sure you were accounted for and watched over. This is the best PT experience I've had in NYC and I'll be returning to see Aleksia for any future PT needs (fingers crossed there's none!)”

About Aleksia Cvijic
Aleksia graduated from Northeastern University’s combined program, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2021. Although she loved her time in Boston, she is happy to return to the state she grew up in, having fallen in love with the energy and atmosphere of NYC during her clinical experiences here. Aleksia’s drive and enthusiasm for this profession began when she was injured on the field, having been a competitive athlete in lacrosse and field hockey. During those athletic years, she realized that this career would be both rewarding and aligned with her passions. She strives to holistically treat her patients and actively listen to their concerns so that their goals consistently align with the plan of care. In her spare time, you can catch her taking a Rumble Boxing class or exploring new restaurants. She currently supports EmpowerHER, a youth mentoring program created for young girls who have experienced the loss of their mother, and one day hopes to run the NYC Marathon as their sponsor!
