What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that working with me is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based care. I strive to create a warm, authentic, and safe space where you can show up as you are, while also feeling gently challenged to grow. I value cultural humility and take time to understand your values, strengths, and goals so that therapy feels meaningful and relevant to your life. I believe that healing doesn’t look the same for everyone, and I’m open to integrating creativity, humor, and personal interests, like music or other expressive tools, into our work together. No matter what you’re struggling with, I believe change is possible with the right support.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I begin by taking time to understand your experiences, concerns, strengths, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. From there, we work together to identify goals and create a personalized treatment plan using evidence-based approaches that fit your needs and values. Our sessions are collaborative and adaptable, combining emotional support with skill-building and practical tools you can apply in your daily life. I also look beyond the therapy room by integrating support systems, lifestyle considerations, and holistic strategies that promote overall well-being. Throughout our work together, I regularly check in to make sure therapy remains aligned with your goals and continues to support your growth.
