What should a new client know about working with you?

Change is integral. I offer a transformative approach with evidence-based technical guidance for the whole person: body, mind and soul. You will make tangible gains toward your goals. The people I work with report enhanced vitality, more fulfilling relationships, and greater professional success. Real breakthroughs are possible. When working with me, you can expect a style that is warm, open-minded, and nonjudgmental. I value authenticity and work with you to create a safer therapeutic space where you can speak freely about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I work collaboratively to understand your goals and help you move toward meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together often begins with a thoughtful exploration of your current situation, followed by a comprehensive assessment of your needs and strengths. In the initial consultation and first few sessions, you will get a chance to see what it might be like to work with me, and I will get to learn more about your background and hopes for the future. If we decide to work together, I require a commitment to meeting at least once per week on an ongoing basis, although two or three sessions per week is sometimes possible. Each session is 50 minutes. I will work with you in-person in Manhattan (Wednesdays or Thursdays) or remotely by video or encrypted audio (Mondays through Fridays).

Please note that my fee is $350 per session. Although I offer sliding scale and reduced fee sessions, unfortunately, at this time, I cannot lower the fee, as all of the sliding scale spots are spoken for. I will provide a monthly medical superbill that you can provide to your insurance company for reimbursement. This will count toward your annual deductible and can also be used for Flex spending or HSA tax-deductible spending.
