About Amita Mali

Amita Mali grew up in India where she received her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy in 2007. She, subsequently, relocated to Pittsburgh, PA to pursue her passion in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and received her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy from University of Pittsburgh in 2009. Thereafter, Amita has primarily practiced in outpatient orthopedic centers. She successfully completed her Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) in 2013, and is a Certified Clinical Instructor (CCI) through APTA. Amita was recently recognized as Fellow through American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT), and joins less than 1% of all US Physical Therapists who have achieved fellowship status. She is currently pursuing her certification in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. Lastly, Amita is trained through APTA as a Pregnancy and Post-Partum physical therapist. Amita enjoys spending time reading, sketching, painting, and organizing social events as her hobby. She currently resides in Metuchen, NJ with her husband.
