His goal is to clearly identify the best solution versus just writing a prescription. Only con would be the office location. It is located in a residential busy area so, street parking is limited. Overall, I highly recommend.”

Dr. Chaugule has received training in a variety of psychotherapy approaches but specializes in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). ISTDP is a treatment designed to help individuals quickly remove suffering and make the changes they desire in their lives, allowing them to live at their highest level of potential. Having expertise in psychotherapy helps him prescribe medications only if needed in a conservative and rational way.
Dr. Chaugule completed his residency in Adult Psychiatry at The Pennsylvania State University. He went on to be a Fellow and trainee at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. He was also an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Baylor College of Medicine and a staff Psychiatrist at The Menninger Clinic in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Amol was very accommodating when I paid him a visit. He took the time to listen to my needs, and was very gentle and understanding without judgement. The only downside was that he was not accepting new patients at the moment, but he took the time to recommend several doctors that were accepting patients that could provide me exactly what I needed. Thank you for everything you do!

Dr. Chaugule is a very knowledgeable, intuitive, compassionate and a caring psychiatrist. He is willing to work with patients to find the right treatment for them. He is professional and has empathy in a way no other doctor I have previously see has. I highly recommend him to others.
