Hi there, I'm Angela!
I am Angela Diehl, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. I utilize primarily a Solution Oriented Approach to Therapy, which is essentially the process of seeking exceptions to the problems presented by clients. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families from adolescents to adults.

My journey to therapy
I first acquired an interest in psychology and therapy while working in a Defense Attorney’s office whose clientele included juvenile offenders who needed mental health services. I continue to find fulfillment in guiding people in personal development by utilizing healthy coping and communication methods.
My goals for you
I ask clients to utilize a Therapy Goals worksheet, which we review regularly. We use progress assessment tools and scaling, and discuss problem resolution based on what has worked for them in their past.
My first session with you
Assessment with brief life and family background, therapy history, discussion of current medications (medical as well as psychotropic), and the catalyst for seeking therapy now.
