WE ARE UNABLE TO SCHEDULE PATIENTS WITH A HISTORY OF INPATIENT ADMISSIONS, SUICIDE ATTEMPTS OR PSYCHOSIS AT THIS TIME. Angelo Rannazzisi, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Pennsylvania. Dr Rannazzisi utilizes evidence-based treatments to help guide patients towards positive change and address a range of emotional, behavioral and adjustment problems. Specifically, Dr Rannazzisi treats adults and adolescents utilizing a combination of Motivational interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, emphasizing how thoughts, actions and circumstances contribute to emotional distress within a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative, empathetic, and respects patients’ autonomy. Dr. Rannazzisi has a particular interest in the non-medication management of ADHD in adults. See Rittenhouse Psychiatric Associates webpage for more information. Dr Rannazzisi received his Psy.D. in clinical psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He has trained at the Center for Cognitive Therapy at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his doctoral internship at PCOM’s Center for Brief Therapy. His previous academic positions include Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Thomas Jefferson University. He is currently a Clinical Instructor at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has presented at national conferences for the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association and the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence. Dr Rannazzisi is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies as well as the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. He has also met all requirements for the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) and is able to provide telepsychology under the authority of PSYPACT in most states throughout the country.
