I can also help parents experiencing perinatal mental health concerns, such as postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, or trauma. What should a new client know about working with you?

Parents often tell me they leave sessions feeling understood, hopeful, and with a clear plan for what to do next. I strive to create a warm, collaborative environment where caregivers never feel judged—parenting is hard, and you don't have to figure everything out alone. My work is grounded in research while remaining practical and individualized for each family's unique strengths, values, and goals. Rather than focusing only on reducing challenging behaviors, I help families understand why behaviors happen, strengthen parent-child relationships, and build skills that support healthy emotional development over time.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first few sessions focus on getting to know your child, your family, and the concerns that brought you to therapy. Together, we'll develop a shared understanding of what's contributing to the challenges you're experiencing and create a treatment plan tailored to your family's goals. Depending on your child's age and needs, sessions may include parent coaching, caregiver-child sessions, play-based interventions, or individual work with your child. Throughout treatment, we regularly review progress, celebrate successes, and adjust strategies as your family grows and new challenges arise. My goal is to provide practical tools you can confidently use in everyday life—not just during our sessions.
