Physical Therapist
710 S Ann St, Fl 2, Baltimore, MD
Arianne Allegrezza’s passion for physical therapy grew from a lifelong love of sport and movement. Growing up in Bowie, MD, she participated in swimming, softball, volleyball, and basketball, with swimming remaining her primary sport from age 12 through her first year at the University of Maryland. Her athletic background fostered an appreciation for the physical demands of sport, injury prevention, and the impact of physical activity on overall well-being. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with High Honors from the University of Maryland, College Park, in May 2023, followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Medicine, in May 2026. During her undergraduate studies, she completed a Sports Medicine internship with the university’s Division I women’s field hockey team, where she gained firsthand exposure to athletic injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. Her clinical training included rotations at University of Maryland Orthopedics in Hunt Valley, where she learned from Orthopedic Clinical Specialists and Orthopedic/Manual Therapy Fellows. She completed her final clinical rotation at True Sports Physical Therapy in Fells Point and subsequently joined the team as a staff physical therapist. Arianne has a strong interest in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, particularly working with swimmers and female athletes. As a competitive swimmer herself, she understands the unique physical demands, injury patterns, and mindset of aquatic athletes. Her interest in female athlete health began during her undergraduate studies and continues to shape her clinical approach. Arianne is committed to helping patients of all backgrounds return to the activities they enjoy, whether that means competing at a high level, staying active in their communities, or navigating daily life with greater confidence and less pain.
