About Dr. Arina Kotlyarsky
Arina is a Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who earned both her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor's degrees in Psychology from Long Island University. Her clinical experience spans over eleven years. She applies a holistic total body approach for the evaluation and development of individualized treatment protocols for a multitude of orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses. Her interests include spinal and sacroiliac dysfunction, cervical dysfunction, rehabilitation of the hip, knee, and shoulder complex, as well as lower kinetic chain dysfunction. In addition, she focuses on the treatment of chronic pain conditions, implementation of kinesio taping, total body rehabilitation utilizing Pilates apparatus, manual therapy, and the promotion of overall health and wellness in her methodology to achieve equilibrium in treating the person as a whole.
Founded by a team of doctors, Wall Street Pain Relief and Grand Central Pain Relief offer unparalleled service in a welcoming and attractive environment. Our offices are equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology for comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services, as well as spacious Pilates gyms and pleasant private treatment rooms. We have two locations conveniently situated in the Grand Central and Wall Street areas with extended hours. Between both locations, we offer one-on-one treatments lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour with a doctor of physical therapy.

Doctor Arina has hands of gold. As a patient who comes every Tuesday, I know Doctor Arina very well. I look forward to coming every Tuesday as I know when I leave the office my back will feel as if I never had any issues. Doctor Arina always has new methods of stretching and always makes sure that my back is healed. She always provides me with exercises that I can do at home unlike other doctors. Other than her excellent work, the office is spotless. It is one of the cleanest offices I have been to and always has a positive vibe, which is very important. I know that my back is safe with Doctor Arina and that together we will make sure it is back to perfection. If you ever have any physical issues or need physical therapy, Doctor Arina is the person you need to see. Trust me you will not regret it.

Dr. Kotlyarsky is simply amazing. She is full of energy and passion for her work, both of which are on full display during each meeting. Dr. Kotlyarsky was able to detect my problem area within minutes of our first session and began tailoring a routine to best treat my problematic shoulder. I have felt looser, more pliable, and more relaxed after each session thus far. Her co-partner, Dr. Goldfine (acupuncturist), is equally fantastic. Very fortunate to have discovered this practice and happy to have listened to the numerous high praise reviews before me. I have been to several PT and acupuncture practices prior, all of which pale in comparison to Dr. Kotlarsky & Dr. Goldfine... if you’re in search of an outstanding physical therapist on location on Long Island, or in Manahattan - I very highly recommend!!!

Arina is the best physical therapist! She curates every session based on what is bothering you that day and always provides helpful insight. Whether you have a specific injury or work at a desk 10+ hours a day, she offers no judgement and listens to her patients' complaints.
Her session was challenging, but easy to follow. She cares about each patient's wellbeing and is incredibly well-informed in her craft. The office was clean, with temperature checks at the door, new clothes for each session and the office staff was friendly. I look forward to continuing my sessions!

Thank you for restoring my function and increasing my range of motion through your strength and conditioning Pilates exercises. In a relatively short time my posture, body alignment and balance have improved.
The combination of acupuncture, massage therapy and contrology that this center offers is best for those who want to play an active role in their recovery.

Grand Central Pain Central is unlike any physical therapist office I've ever been to. They offer a multitude of services such as pilates, cupping, acupuncture, manual massages, and more. Each treatment is customized towards your needs, depending on whatever ailment you have, and their services go well beyond just back pain. The staff is incredibly welcoming, the office is meticulously clean and comfortable, and I always leaving feeling better than when I arrived. I will definitely be coming back!

You can't go wrong here! Just minutes from Grand Central. Office is beautiful and well kept. All the PT's are knowledgeable and have a game plan to treat your injury. It is one stop shopping because they also have acupuncture, masseuse, chiropractor, and nutritionist in house.

Arina and her fellow PT's have given me, better care than I ever could have wished for. The office is warm and welcoming, with no wait time. It is spotlessly clean and all of the treatment rooms are private (walls not curtains between you and other patients). Treatment is one to one, from start to finish, by extremely knowledgeable and caring professionals. Forever grateful to a friend who referred me to Arina, after a ski accident 2 years ago. They gave me excellent care, to prepare me for knee surgery, thru' getting me back on skis and continue to work tirelessly on every visit, to improve my strength and to correct weaknesses in a fun, professional environment. This is how healthcare should feel. While it may sound a little strange, many people have hear me say many times over the past 2 years, I love PT!

Simply amazing! Five stars doesn't do Dr. Kotlyarsky justice. The office is immaculate and relaxing and the set up makes you feel at ease. You're taken care of immediately and even given a set of clothes to wear which is simply fantastic. However it's her expertise and care that goes above and beyond. Her use of the reformer, and wonder chair was challenging but freeing and she adjusts and assists you every step of the way. Most of all her passion for her work is clear and comes through in the dedication she puts towards her patients. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know and will be returning for many future sessions! Thank you Dr. Kotlyarsky!

I came hear for back pain caused by weightlifting. Excellent treatment using pilates, massage, etc. Very knowledgeable and professional staff. I recovered far more quickly than I expected. Much better treatment than you would get at your standard PT clinic.

Dr. Kotlyarsky's staff are miracle workers! Professional yet easygoing, skilled yet unpretentious, they offer a holistic approach that includes acupuncture, alignment, massage, physical therapy, pilates, and a warm sense of humor. The place is spotless, with free snacks and well-equipped treatment rooms. Each treatment is patiently explained and tailored to meet specific healing needs. Very highly recommended!

Arina is a phenomenal therapist. She is very polite and professional. I suffer from lower back pain and since I started treatment i have been feeling great . Saw Dr. Kotlyarsky after many years of chronic lower back pain and I can already feel a difference! Can't believe I've gone all these year with pain. Dr. Arina Kotlyarsky was very gentle and attentive while providing me with Pilates exercises for pain relief. Beyond Back Pain is also close to my office in midtown so I am able to schedule my appointment during lunch. Looking forward to acupuncture session this week!

Dr. Arina was amazing ! She addressed my lower back pain on the reformer! We did amazing Pilates session one on one for 45 min. Dr Arina showed me proper stretches and performed a hot stone massage at the end of the treatment ! Definitely the best physical therapy session I ever had.

Arina is very dedicated to helping people feel better. She posseses a great deal of knowledge in her field of expertise. Unlike many doctors, Arian listens and wants to know how and what you are felling. She takes the time to talk with you and answer your questions.
