About Ashish Patel
Dr. Patel has 22 years of experience in the physical therapy field, providing one-on-one attention to patients during sixty-minute sessions. His office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to deliver the highest level of physical therapy care. Dr. Patel graduated from Hunter College, City University of New York, in 1997 with a Master’s in Physical Therapy. He completed his training at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, New York, specializing in outpatient care. He utilizes Kinesio Taping, primarily used in sports physical therapy and for athletes. Dr. Patel has extensive experience in orthopedic physical therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, and elder care. FREE TRANSPORTATION TO ALL THREE LOCATIONS IS AVAILABLE.

Been to other therapists. This office did not meet expectations. Rooms and beds little dirty and unorganized. Only two therapists. Had to wait more then 30 mins to be seen.

I went because I have very severe pain in my left knee that I couldn’t drive at all or go upstairs. My first visit turned out to be a great session and start my recovery just after 3rd visit. There was no wait time even most of time I went with no appointment they welcomed me. I was given several different forms of treatment that I enjoyed. Even doctor didn’t mind discussing the MRI results before I discussed it with my doctor.
Very clean and accommodating office. office staff are excellent, very professional, friendly and always have nice smile.
I have no doubt that I am in good Hands.

Excellent service. Very pleased with my visit. Environment is amazing. Staff is very efficient and professional. I will highly recommend this office. I'll be continuing my visits here. I have been to certain physical therapy offices around the neighborhood but this was the best. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE OFFICE FOR ALL. Haven't seen any office so clean and well equipped.

I was diagnosed with RA in May 2015, but I decided to seek the help of a PT instead of depending on RA medications that my Rheumatologist prescribed. Found Dr. Patel online with zip code locator and called right away. He was very accommodating since I was able to see him the same day with my prescription. Great personality and very professional. Excellent staff and extremely clean office. I've seen major developments with my knee pain under his care. It's the best feeling in the world to be active again and not resort to medications.

I made an appointment at 8:30am through zocdoc and it was CONFIRMED by the office so imagine my disappointment when I showed up and the office was closed and didn't open until 9am. I know we're all busy but I have 4 free hours during the work week everyday so for me to have wasted a quarter of my free time when I could have spent it with my family, friends or taking care of myself I am left waiting in the cold. This was highly unprofessional and easily avoided. Doesn't the office see all incoming appointments through zocdoc?

Dr. Patel is a very kind and professional therapist. He made sure to address all of my needs/requests regarding my sciatica, as well as provide the care that he thinks is necessary to address the issue. Easy to talk to and does his best to create a treatment plan that is molded best for the patient. On every visit, I have left the office feeling much better than how I felt coming in. Barely any wait, and parking (Union Turnpike location) is not a problem. Will be continuing to come here.

I came to him because of an on the job injury. I provide him my workers comp case # which according to my union was all they need to continue with therapy. Mr Patel stated that he was unsure how he was getting paid for my visits and also he stated that he do not accept GHI even though it is on ZocDoc that he do. He still went along and collected my copay in my three visits there. I couldn't afford to keep coming back to the office because he had issues "verifing" my workers comp. I also had issues obtaining a doctors note for my visits. I had to keep reminding him because he chooses to fax my note to my job instead of writing me one while I was there. It will take amost a week for him to actually send my note to the job. My last conversation with Mr Patel on the phone regarding my note was because my work office did not receive it. Mr Patel had an outburst and told me to stop harassing him and that I visit him once a week and he do not want to continue with my therapy. It seem like he didnt like me from day 1 and I should have looked for another physical therapist from the beginning. I will not see this guy EVER again.
